ohms is the measurment of resistance so when the circuit is connected ther is barley n e ohms but when u hold on to it there is more resistance between the circuit so ur meter goes up. ur not measuring power ur measuring resistance (resistance)=how hard it is for electricity to move

magnetrone has UHF resonator, signal of your foil antenna goes on coaxial pin of resonator, and teoretically resonator can collect some anthenna UHF energy, like oscilation LC circuit in every radio.
cathode has some capacitive bond with anode, and anode in some meanind are second wire of magnetrone resonator.

If you provide your multimeter with a good ground and that piece of foil, you will get even better results. Magnetron is just a loading coil and it is not dangerous without adding additional voltages to it. Now if you want to play a little more with the magnetron - and it is not dangerous, connect your multimeter so that it is connected one wire to each of the terminals, and then wave a magnetic over the magnetron. - It will be just like one of those shake flashlights. You could use an LED

thanx for your comment
i have tried to replicate it with another magnetron and failed.
i didnt get the same results without it in the circuit.
i agree its only a little voltage with no power,i just thought it interesting that it seemed to behave like a crystal radio without a diode.
i also tried waynedavisband's idea with a signal diode-see comments above

at first: we need power, not voltage or current as itself ;-)
second:
when did you buy multimeter? :-)
АС voltmeter will show some voltage almost everytime, every radiospecialist know that...
we are in ocean of AC fields, especially in city where 50Hz everywhere
you can exclude magnetron from your circuit, and you will get almost the same result
another think if you could show that magnetron can dramatically increace output _power_ of your circuit...

thanx for your comment-the earth resonates at around 8 cycles per second.see Schuman resonance

I guess you are earthing - the dc (static in the air +) going thru your "amp" :) if you put a capasitor on the leed, it can get dangerous with high voltage ;), high voltage what a thing!!! nice to share my though. p,s look at nibiru, planet X ok,. any one know what frequenci the earth emits? cheers from spain

funny you should say that -i was looking at it in a book on Tesla last night!

teslas radiant energy device? google patents

i tried waynedavisbands idea with the diodes and it did not work.I am well aware of how a magnetron works and if you were also you would know that it needs a heater filament glowing red hot to emit electrons into the resonant cavity before output of any microwaves.
its more like the magnetron was behaving as a diode to the signal put in by my body and the other antenna.
as for dangerous-there is no ionising radiation-so no danger. |
