I was just talking about the age of the members themselves. I thought they (Portnoy, Myung, and Petrucci) started around the age of 20, and since it's their 20th anniversary (in this video at least) then they would be in their 40s by now.
I was kind of looking at a different part of the discussion, though (it wasn't a reply to guitarzan73, if that's what you thought it was).
Also, to add to your point, I'm 17 and I've been listening to DT for over a year now.

yeah maybe the band is.. im not talking about the band.. he said no one in their 20s would listen to this band..which is stupid and untrue cuz the ppl who got me itno them are in their 30s... no mention of the bands age..

Actually the wanker is JP,ripping off,among other things,Vinnies licks. Before you were born, Rudess used to play with Vinnie. Unlike you,Id bet Rudess would say nothing but great things about Vinnie. Why? Cause the reality is,hes not only an unbelievably great guitarist,but he has many albums with many fantastic songs.

Bruce Dickinson is not great. He's good, and fun, but he's really not that great of a singer. Maiden fanboys always praise him, but his actual vocal talent is at par. Labrie is much more versatile, technical, and better live than Bruce. Sorry.
Maiden wanted Labrie, but Labrie said no and stuck with DT. Why? Cause DT and Labrie are superior than a repetitive metal band. Thanks
