The story of this video really mirrors my life, and it makes me tear up every time I watch it. I even deployed in the first week of September. It's very heartfelt. I know that the meaning behind the song itself isn't about the war, but it parallels nicely. Both Green Day and the director of this video did a wonderful job. Kudos to the two actors as well. Probably my vote for best music video of all time! :-)
