i agree as well. i am actually saddened that i did not see watchmen before reading the graphic novel because when i read v for vendetta after watching the movie i found so many extra layers of meaning, which was exciting. unfortunatey i think i will look for more meaning than there is in the watchmen movie, having already read the book. i believe i will be dissapointed by the lack of extra meaning in the movie. =/

I personally liked both the movie and the book. I suppose I'm somewhat unbiased because I read the book after I saw the movie. But, I do like the book more.

Alan Moore disowned the movie. They sugared the plot and simplified it. I like the movie, but I wish they hadn't done that. They should remake it with the original plot. I hope they do a better job with Watchmen.
