Go to the hospital where he died and ask for his HIV blood status. Transmission of AIDS heterosexually has a high probability (thus a low probability of no heterosexual transmission). The window period of HIV can be as long as 18 years for its manifestation.

Please stop this nonsense. We are here to entertain and enjoy ourselves, and you guys are ruining it. We don't care what Fela died of. His son Femi runs a campaign against Aids and says YES Fela and other great and not so great people died of it. It's a world tragedy and it's devastating Africa. So what if Fela made controversial remarks about it? He was probably distraught as can be expected. We love him and his art regardless! Judge him by his musical legacy. Fight Aids not Fela!
