Love the music and the video. I think I first saw it on VH1's New Visions. They look like they really had fun doing this--particularly Terri Lyne and Patrice. Thanks for posting this.

it's everything you want and everything you don't want at all the same time. but overall it's great.
go there, even if you have to go into massive debt. a life of playing music is worth it.

In 1973 to 75 I was studying with Alan Dawson at Berklee along with Terri Lynn, Steve Smith, Kennwood Dennard and John (JR) Robinson. We were all 18, and Terri Lynn was 12 years old. Dawson took her under his wing, and look at her now. It's funny, but one of my students of 5 years through middle and high school went to LA and studied with Terri Lynn after high school. I did the Dawson studies and she taught her stuff to him. |
