Man I really wish I could get into MIT but I highly doubt I could.. I am pretty confident that I could"survive" there but am not so confident in my personality. My grades are not so well right now but my test scores are decent I guess, but from what I've heard MIT cares more about your passion and determination for the subject than your test scores. I personally think I have a good a amount of both but I don't know how to make that evident to them..and it's too late to start doing my homework.

Ah! Glorious, this is really helpfull~ Im already in 10th grade but I haven't really been getting algebra... I've been watching the whole series and its really, REALLY becomming clear to me. I actually feel rather stupid for not having understood before...

matrixes are really cool. i started messing around with them on my calculator but my teacher didn't want me to tell me more uses of it because he said ill do it in 4 years if i study mathematics.

Don't get too confident. This is the first lecture and a mere intro to linear algebra. Linear algebra gets way more in depth with vector spaces, basis transformations, Wronskian determinants and more mathematically-intensive concepts. The topic of systems of equations is appropriate for middle school students...I would be less inclined to say the same about more advanced linear algebra.

As a physics undergrad and a mech. engineering grad student, I have to grudgingly admit that linear algebra has to be one of the more useful branches of math. I can't imagine doing any kind of academic work without invoking some sort of concept from linear algebra.

as far as a watch videos on MIT baout chemistry to math, i just notice that teachers looked nervous. are they really nervous or just at hurry?
