Read the video description. They're teaching Rumba movement to be used in salsa dancing. Hence, they demonstrated it to salsa music.

The music is NOT guaguanco! The percusion is playing tumbao, bass tumbao, piano montuneando, clave is playing clave de son. In Puerto Rico and New York this would be salsa.

Oh please stop with the rude exchanges. Rumba is danced in many countries with many variations. Many countries claim a style as their own. It is based on African rythyms and spread in the Americas from Cuba. Ballroom rumba derives its movements and music from "son", as do the salsa and mambo. When son was brought to the United States in the early 1930's it was renamed rumba. This "son/rumba" was characterized by twice as fast tempo than the modern ballroom "dance of love" rumba. Enjoy!
