I love the way Damon Albarn keeps re-inventing himself. Not re-inventing in a deployed way. Rather, in a moving on, through the waves, onwards and onwards way, with darkness below and light above. If that makes sense. He is a craftsman, a craftsman of songs and of moods and of capturing and crafting the spirits of those, and these, times. We should appreciate this.
