According to the worlds first female thereminist-Clara Rockmore, "theremin is the most difficult instrument in the world to play WELL"...and "It takes at least a year to master, and works take at least a month and a half to concertize".

Thanks for the kind words.
You can get theremins at soundslikeburns on the web. Also at moogmusic, and wavefront.

I've seen some videos around youtube with this before, and I honestly wasn't too sure if they were legit. Luckily I stumbled upon this, so thanks. =)
I wouldn't mind playing around with this, it sounds amazing.

where would be a good website to purchase a good quality Theremin?
ThomasGrillo (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
You're not alone. The theremin is still unheard of for many people, even today, after nearly 90 years since it was first invented by Leon Theremin, back in 1919.
It nearly went into oblivion back in the 60, and 70s, but it's enjoying a comeback in many genres of music, and many forms of entertainment. |
