I saw the man playing live 6 times, starting from '88. My brother saw him 7 times. This is our favourite track. Ever. Both mine and my brother.

"I know what I'm talking about.."
Yet you know nothing about the Mighty Max?
Makes me wonder..

Thanks very much. I don't know why this is the only song of Bruce Springsteen that makes me feel uncomfortable with. I saw Bruce Springsteen for my first time in Paris on the 27th june and he chose this one to open the concert. I don't know why...

It is to do with what Cain is seen as a symbol of - as the first murderer, he is seen as a token of evil.

Why is it "Raised a cain" and not "Raised Cain" ??

I see people didn't like me complaining about the solo - Bruce is my favorite guitar player of all time and this is not his best

Great soloing, only the drummer just plows ahead like he doesn't know anything but the same riff.... Blues rock done best, needs a drummer that can do something other htan just plod along through the song. I know what I'm talking about..
