doesn't matter what his occupation was. there are a lot of people who have social difficulties yet can entertain a large audience. i only know just a few people who know/knew him and at least one of them has told me that he was a shy person. Look up Ray Burgess and his video 'Happy Hour Brigade' and see Rick Springfield with his other Australian patriots back in 1977. He may well have been the most successful out of that lot, but he isn't grabbing all the attention.

wow, it kinda got to me watching this and seeing how far he got in life. it's great to see how he kept the faith of Rock 'n' Roll whilst many of his Australian comtempories of the 60's fell on the way side. And knowing for a fact that Rick Springfield used to suffer from shyness and see him like this is very pleasing.
