In our modern music era, this was one, and is one, of the realest songs I have ever heard about how it all gets started and misunderstood over one word: love. He did not show that Prince Charming, Alice in Wonderland sh!t in the video either. He showed what love really is when it is not "made for tv pretty" and your actions are matchin' watcha' mouth is sayin'. I am a grown man but this song makes me tear up more often than not.

Um no.Musiq actually made this song first & the he named it LOVE.This came out in 2000.Tri-ni-tee 5:7 did a gospel remake in 2002 on the album "The Kiss" & replace the word with LORD.

No this song is actually singing about LOVE not God.When he says "So many people use your name in vain" he's saying how people just throw the words "I love you" around & not mean it.There is a gospel version by Trinitee 5:7 called "Lord".The just replaced the word Love in the song with Lord.

That really makes sense for this song, especially when he says so many people use your name in vain. I never thought about it as that.
