Not to belabor the point, but it's interesting you compare Hugo Drax (played by Michael Lonsdale in "Moonraker" to Dominic Greene (played by Mathieu Amalric in "Quantum") Both of those actors were in the movie "Munich," with Daniel Craig before he got the Bond role. I think Amalric portrayed Lonsdale's son in "Munich." Maybe Craig recommended Amalric because he worked with him in "Munich."
