we were very unlucky then, the coach we went on had no speakers by our ears.... which sucked so we didnt go on it again.

The one at Disneyland Paris does have music playing actually, and it is somewhat louder than the music on the American version. You must have been very unlucky and got one of the rare trains that doesn't play any music!
