Everquest 2 is awesome one of the best games ive played in the last 4 years closely followed by WoW :)

Hell, I'm 17 and I roleplay on EQII...it's a lot better than WoW...but I started on WoW, so I have them to thank for my online gaming tutorials. :P But EQII makes me freaking addicted.

I can honestly say when EQ2 first came out like all fresh games it needed work. Though EQ2 was backed up by veterans in this field from the very successful original EQ it become just a matter of time before EQ2 was molded into the superior game. I have played DAoC, Lineage 2, WoW, Guild Wars and Final Fantasy 11 online and I can honestly say EQ2 has been the one to lure me back. To me it's a new game that managed to keep that old school atmosphere and the staff are totally dedicated.

this game was great till 2005. then somthin just went wrong. didnt feel the same. playin WoW now, but somtimes i still miss everquest. idk, might go back to it some day.

Yes, Wow has more players than EQ2 HOWEVER! Wow has more younger players, I think that a wow lover wouldn't understand EQ2 gameplay which is MUCH better than Wow

Leave it to the WoW kiddies to come into eq1/eq2 vids to shout WoW Pwnz0rzs!!! you kiddies have your "trendy" games (Warhammer? Conan?) Let the adults have their immersive games, thanks. Quality > trends on TV cartoon network. If it takes Mr. T and Mini-Me to bring you to an MMO then its pretty obvious how shallow and content-less WoW is.

I love eq2. I played WoW and sometime go back from time to time but eq2 is so much more immersive. WoW, imo is a game for the generic masses, many who play, never knew first generation. Personally I like the community, and met so many people in real life because of eq2 including my husband. It seemed like everyone in WoW is spassy and out for themselves get geared up an quit.
