What do you think they make of such a plane then? Try to repair it or get rid of it? Cause i've seen the wings were also heavily damaged...

TNT is carried on truck or trains in the United States. Only in Europe would they send it by passenger airplane. But, at least they labeled it correctly. LOL, owned, etc.

Perhaps he did get himself into the situation with his first botched attempt, but at least he didn't screw up that subsequent attempt.

All you guys saying 'what a pro/hero/whatever', the pilot is a DICK - you're only seeing half the picture here! This is the second attempt at a landing (at Birmingham), the first was at East Midlands and was such a balls-up the carriage was fucked in the process. The pilot was dismissed in disgrace, he may have done well to get the plane down here but he is no hero.

The pilot broke the landing gear, he was supposed to land at East Midlands airport but botched the landing.
