It is indeed. Therefore it doesn't help to make fun of 911, especially since hundreds of thousands of people died, mostly indirectly from the attacks. On top of that, 911 ensured Bush's re-election, something that cost the whole world dearly.
I wonder if the Onion also makes fun of concentration camps?
