I thought it sounded more like it was about Robespiere SP? cause he talks about the old king being dead. When he made his 2 hour speech he didnt mention names of who he thought was conspiring against the republic, but the people who thought he was suggesting him arrested him and had him killed. Since he was a major part of the reveloution and he was killed by revolutionaries that could explain that part in the song.
