What do you believe about Jesus? Is he a good man? Is he a prophet? Or is he, as Christians believe, actually divine? What do Muslims believe about Jesus? Is he a prophet or more than a prophet? Why is it important to understand the differences between the Christian and Islamic views of Jesus? One may ask, if both Muslims and Christians love and respect Jesus (pbuh), where exactly is the parting of ways? The major difference between Islam and Christianity is the Christians' insistence on the supposed divinity of Christ (pbuh). A study of the Christian scriptures reveals that Jesus (pbuh) never claimed divinity. In fact there is not a single unequivocal statement in the entire Bible where Jesus (pbuh) himself says, "I am God" or where he says, "worship me". In fact the Bible contains statements attributed to Jesus (pbuh) in which he preached quite the contrary. Representing the Muslim perspective was Shabir Ally: Shabir Ally has earned a B.A. in Religious Studies from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario, with a specialization in Biblical Literature, and an M.A. in Religious Studies from the University of Toronto with a specialization in Quranic Exegesis. He is the president of the Islamic Information & Dawah Centre International in Toronto where he functions as Imam. He travels internationally to represent Islam in public lectures and interfaith dialogues. He explains Islam on a weekly television program called "Let the Quran Speak. Representing the Christian side was Rev. Tony Costa: Rev. Tony Costa has earned a B.A. and an M.A. in Religious Studies from the University of Toronto. how can God the almighty have a son, that is impossible, none is even comprable to any human, He has no son, wife, nor any parents, every1 knows that its true, Islam is so similar to Christianity, except Christians say that jesus died for our sins and there is no prophet after that. well first of all, how can some1 die for anothers sins, it makes no sense, especially since u say he is the son of God. Islam on the other hand makes sense. The Qur'an has never been changed, the present bibles difer

Jesus as Prophet & Servant of God in the Bible: 'About Jesus of Nazareth, He was a PROPHET, powerful in word and deed before God and all the people-Luke 24:19 'People at the time of Jesus believed that he was a PROPHET'-Matt 21:45 Jesus considered himself a Prophet when he said: "only among his relatives and in his own house is a PROPHET without honour" Mark 6:4 God Alone is the only true God, and Jesus whom you sent".John 17:3 Here is my servent whome I have chosen" Matt 12:18

Muhammad said in Sura 61:6 that Jesus announced with glad tidying the coming of an apostle, the Ahmad to whom Muhammad laid claim for he said he would only speak the God's truth However Jesus said he was sending a comforter to his apostles while they lived not 500 years later, and that the Comforter lives in all people on earth and that proves Muhammad was a false prophet who never spoke the God's truth Therefore the Jesus in Christianity is valued for Islam itself is INVALID

If one accepts this Muslim Isa - 'Jesus' - then one also accepts the Koran and one accepts Islam. Belief in this 'Isa is won at the cost of the libel that Jews and Christians have corrupted their scriptures, a charge that is without historical support. Belief in this 'Isa implies that much of Christian and Jewish history is in fact Islamic history - which is of couse absurd since Mohammed came 600 years after Jesus!

'Isa (Jesus) of the Qur'an is a product of fable, imagination and ignorance. When Muslims venerate this 'Isa, they have someone different in mind from the Yeshua or Jesus of the Bible and of history. The 'Isa of the Qur'an is based on no recognized form of historical evidence, but on fables current in seventh century Arabia.

TUTH is that, all prophets incl Jesus and moses just preached one path of GOD. One GOD does not have 100rd of path. ONE God has just one path which is Islam. The term such as Christianity etc are invent terms

In Dead Sea Scrolls, Jesus said: God, I thank Thee, For again giving me, A new lease of life. For saving me from death & surrounding me with a defensive wall. The cruel wanted to take my life But, I stood firm on ur comandments. They r the supporters of the wicked & Donot understand Thee. Ur grace is my guardian: Thou hast saved me & Thou willed that, They could not catch my soul. Thou came to the rescue of this humble servant, It is Thee, Who saved my life from the clutches of the powerful
