Personally i think if you took any metal guitarist and put them on an acoustic, they wouldnt be able to play it as well. But take an acoustic player and give him an electric and he can play it with any effect desired. The electric can hide a multitude of sin, incorrect note can be covered with distortion and wammy bar, acoustic is what you play is what you get, acoustic is better for beginer, you have to push the strings harder,strengthening your fingers, and you dont have to lug around an amp.

u dont need an electric guitar... U can just buy an acoustic guitar for like 100 bucks and keep practising with that. An electric guitar is actually harder to play than an acoustic one.

I agree with ttfaf a plat real guitar and its wayyyy harder then gh some of those so called "easy songs" on gh, are accualy quite hard on real guitar
