This is a new series where I review video production products and how they hold up to my test methods verses price and quality. http://www.tubetape.com In this video I take a look at tubetape.com's 2 QL-1000 softbox light kit. Its a great value for the money. I give it a markapsolon thumbs up! You can check it out at the address below: http://store02.prostores.com/s...

Are those lights Daylight or Tungston?

what if I am taking pictures of posters with a glossy lamination on them. How do I get rid of that reflective shine?

Hi Mark, thanks for your videos, it really helps! I would lower the volume of the music a little bit though, it's kinda distracting.

I think the main reason I have not used Cinescore is because they do not have that many theme packs. I like sonicfire because there are more music packs. Its also the only one that did not sound midi-like. You should look at Richard Bands packs for great symphonic stuff. It rocks and they are making all the old one layered too.

I would just put them back in the boxes they were originally in to begin with. Thats what I do when I break them down

Mark, I went ahead and bought this light kit from tubetape. It came today and I love it, BUT... how do you protect the bulbs when you store it in the bag?? It didn't come with instructions and I can't find anything that will keep the bulbs safe. THANKS!

Excuse the butt-in, but I've used Cinescore a fair amount. It's a great program when it's used to its capacity, and uses keyframe-like control for changing style. It seems geared the more electronic music styles, as I have yet to find a really good symphonic theme pack. But the control you get over the mood and intensity of the songs is incredible. Blows SonicFire Pro out of the water. For royalty-free generation, I don't think there's anything better on the market.

Mark i am buying this for my birthday and i made a video called better lighting for chroma key but i did not show the part where you light the subject so is it OK if i make another review on 2 QL-1000 soft box light kit.
