Update 1-25-08 I would like to thank everyone that took the time to view this video. I encourage everyone to be open minded with the on going debate in martial arts. Yes, I would love to see a fight between Bruce Lee and any of the top MMA guys but I rather focus on the fact that martial arts have truly evolved over the years so there's really no need for who can beat who or what's better than so and so. Thanks again to all the martial artist and martial art fans out there for the one million + views. Peace. - Victor ----- A short documentary on the One Inch Punch. Interviews with Jeet Kune Do and Wing Chun instructors. Discover more on what Bruce Lee demonstrated years ago. Shot and edited by Victor Tran. Contact me through youtube messages if you have any questions regarding this video.

The so called "1 inch punch" is a myth

Looks can be deceiving. Its very hard to tell what kind of power was transfered unless you are on the other end of it, getting struck. FaJing power isnt seen, its only felt... and its "fraction of second release". It does not help that they also did a slow-mo after the hit. Obviously, Its not as impressive because he pulled back some, not having the power to do it from 1" or less. Regardless, even Lee's strike dont look like much, but the guys hit were in some real serious pains (documented).

i love the horribly faked dramatic reactions the person holding the pad has when the Bruce Lee wannabe attacks.

I stand corrected then. Still, ohm is babbling now and isn't proving his case.

Counterexample is a word In philosophy, counterexamples are usually used to argue that a certain philosophical position is wrong by showing that it does not apply in certain cases.

a real master, doesn't need to show his techniques, those mma are not masters, only wild people fighting in a cage

i think it's ok if they try to immitate someone, you gotta start somewhere, once you got it you can create your own style, of course you look noobish at the beginning but later who know, and that apply for everything

What bullshit.. stupid white boi tryin immitate bruce lee, whilst stating that hes better in his own way 1:22 he tries to punch..but he ends up doing a 5 inch punch by bringing his fist back.. Even at 5:02 he also pulls his hand back slightly all im saying is that too many people are tryin to IMITATE bruce lee, by doing something way off..hoping people dunno , but bruce lee the legend he is the best and will always be remembered.
