Mountain will never be in the Rock Hall of Fame because they never sold more then five million albums. Flash in the pan band destroyed by drugs.

Steve Knight is playing in a band called "Velmous". He is also writing a book with ND SMART II called,"Other Side of the Mountain".

Best concert ever: Sam Houston Colliseum in Houston, 1970. Black Sabbath and Mountain. Kick ass.

Steve Knight went into obscurity after his departure from Mountain. After his 1972 departure from Mountain, Knight returned to his Jazz roots, working in specialty engineering (as a door engineer), and as a songwriter, author and part-time musician. In 1999 he moved to Woodstock NY elected to a seat on the Woodstock Town Board. After 4 straight terms, he quit and has returned to private life including an upcoming music project.
