but they're not pre k kids.. and they're not being taught to put on a condom -_-. It's just a book that is entertainment, and the fact that one of the characters is gay shouldn't affect how the kids or parents appreciate the book. that just shows how close-minded and insecure america really is if they actually think that one little thing in a childrens book could be a hidden "agenda" Lol. some parents may disagree but that doesn't make them right.

let me answer u wit another question "why educate kids on the possibility while they're still young?" being gay or not is touchy subject like sex which many parents may consider inappropriate such as sex ed. classes, u and i could could argue that it is good 4 kids 2 b informed but some parents may disagree, besides like sex ed. classes there is an appropriate age 4 when kids should be exposed 2 that. u don't see pre k kids being taught how 2 put on a condom

who really gives a fuck. no where in the book is there instances or insinuations of homosexuality. the information is irrelevant to the story. if or when a child (or even adult) comes upon the information that "dumbledore is gay," the only difference it could possibly determine is how said child understands and interprets the term "homosexual" in their own minds, and that is ultimately influenced by up-bringing, environment, and the media. "hey let's blame everyone but ourselves for ourselves"
