In his own words Neil Young "used everything, except heroin." If you're going to stand up in the Supreme Court of Ontario and confess to using illegal drugs, you wouldn't bother lying about one of them. Why he felt testifying to his own drug use would help his brother who was up on drug charges is a whole other question though.
