Mike Portnoy has a lot to learn??!! He's arguably the best in his genre and has been recognized by Modern Drummer and the like. Secondly, they do have 7/8 music, you just don't know shit about DT. You have a lot to learn

If you like Non traditional drum bit din try listening to Metropolis 1...youll be blown away by odd time signatures...Assuming your not a Dream theater fan...

AGREED !!!! How can you not like this kind of music? if i get some of my friends to listen to like Dream Theater or like cellador they go WOW amazing playing but AWFUL voice im all like WTF oh well i guess u have to be in a select group of people to truly enjoy This kind of muzik

alot to learn huh. yeah i guess 4 years at berklee and playing 6 hours a day from age 12 is not enough he should prolly keep practicing maybe he'll be as good as you someday.....
