I am 37 and have been a fan since the age of 5
and I am still listening to this man.. I even have his autograph sent from the record company he was with at the time.. He should be played more..

OK, not quite sure why everyone's divulging their age, but in the spirit of transparency I'm 49. I went on my first date in the spring of 1977, taking my paramour to the Al Stewart concert at the Lyric Theater in Baltimore. I remember it quite well, the anticipation of it only heightened by the fact that it had been postponed a couple of months because Al had lost his voice while touring the US that winter. Thanks for posting this, thanks the memories Al, and thanks Suzanne wherever you are. |
