Flower power was much earlier then 1969 to be exact 1961, for the record look at the Dutch Wikipedia and then you will see that I'm right also with my above statements.

i'm inclined to agree with jontenn on this one. just because he wasn't born then doesn't mean he doesn't know anything about it. that's a very arrogant view to take. flower power was had it's heyday in 1969 (summer of love etc). the small faces may have been part of the wave of bands that influenced it, but they certainly weren't part of it. and for the record, i'm also 22. age is nothing but a number.

Maybe we can all agree, that mods is what you couldn´t find in California.
But still, a band like the Who was able to do fantasitc flower power inspired songs like "Pictures of Lily" or "I can see for miles". |
