Winnipeg is amazing, not necessarily for the performance or anything... But, the culture of the city, the people, the fans. If you were in the arena when the jets played, it was crazy! The fan base was strong, unlike the coyotes fans... Don't get me wrong, I like the coyotes, it's just that why would warm-loving people waste their time in a frigid ice rink when they could be shooting hoops or watching baseball? Trust me, I'm from Winnipeg, and have friends in Phoenix. It's like that.

the Jets were all the winniepg people had to be proud of...my poor mets suck but if they ever moved id take it out on all of baseball...the rivalries of Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and Winnepeg should be restored...i totally miss the days of the Norris and Smythe divisions, and then the wales conference...if you could come in at least fourth place you would make the playoffs...Now you tell me why the FUCK Gary Bettman had to rip that apart...Bettman sold us traditionalist out for his own good!

if the phoenix fans are so great, why does the league need to help the coyotes make their payroll? i've been to a game in the new arena...judging by the attendance figures, i'm the only one.

winnepeg is a crappy city it it the most crime infested city in canada.the coyotes have the best fans. the coyotes fan are more dedicated than winnepeg fans.
