Such as? And how do you know that no-one else didn't say anything? He was a playwright and so a man of great standing and influence; that in itself doesn't mean he could be the only one that had this insight.

i agree with you...but shakespeare was ingenious, and for this play in particular he did see and point out some things that no one bothered to pay attention to back then

That's a bit of a specious statement to make. Yes he was a great playwright, but it's a bit incredulous to say that: "he understood society and its institutions like no one else"; weak argument from silence.

Shakespeare was an astounding genius. To the Hebes out there, no, he was not a Jew. First he understood society and it's institutions like no one else, then had a searing wit that laid it bare.
