Thank you for that comment. I also believe that Mulholland Drive is one of the most unique and affecting movies of all time. Every repeated viewing yields a new aspect to this dark masterpiece. Im certain that in time it will be appreciated as the sublime work of art that it is. Its reputation grows with every passing year..

I'm convinced this is the greatest film ever made. Not only because it's a Hollywood epic, a romance, a noir, erotic thriller, a fantasy but because Lynch invents a cinematic language that is unique and because moreso than any other living director he goes beyond the known cinematic conventions to create something that's purely cinematic and at the same time un-cinematic at the same time.

with regards to the dubbing, I think it's the whole point of the scene: Silencio from the singer.
