Wow seriously, you cannot hate on the original and say its crap and no one likes it because if no one liked it no one would have re made the song. I prefer TFF over gary jules(or as some of you call it the gears of war one)

Got a weird feeling passing a channel starting star trek: the next generation. Seen the show as a kid but damn, had no idea it's theme song would give me the same feeling. Not related I know.

I personally like both versions too. Gary's is slow and sad, but this one is pretty eerie. I get that feeling from many tunes with similar sounds. Other worldly. That era seemed tuned into something else, can't quite put my finger on it. Awesome lyrics for this song.
