I dont care what it says on the back...my old P.4 had a ATI 9700 128mb and 128bit and 2gb DDR ram and it played crysis on lowest with 25 fps avg...so I would say that 128mb plays the game just fine

thats the requirements on the back of the DVD 256mb gfx
MaxiMachine (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
he does not...that is the "OFFICIAL REQUIREMENTS" which will allow the game to enter into the menu and "start" the game but you will get crap fps. I have figured out that the requirments to run the game with good fps (30 fps) you need 2gb ram (or more) a 8600gt/gs/gts a P4 3.0ghz (or Core 2 duo 2.0 ghz) and the whole 256mb gfx is not true you only NEED 128mb
