I agree with above comments.If anyone would like to hear a unique rendition of the Canon may I suggest (if you can get it) you listen to Buddy Emmons-Steel Guitar 1976 album where Buddy plays the three violin parts and the cello line along with a string section modified from the original continuo or harpsichord part on the Pedal Steel Guitar.

After I learned to play this on the piano, there was never a need for me to learn another song on the piano because this one is so perfect that nothing else I could learn would compare.

If Canon Rock it who I think you are talking about, I completely agree. I despise that song. Keep Classical Classical. A lot of people don't even know that is a classical song.
