Yeh seriously, can you imagine a white interviewer making this line of attack against a black performer who does european classical music? Arsenio is way out of line. And Ice isn't a strong enough personality to call him out on it, he got sideswiped. If he had said "so basically you think there are things people shouldn't be allowed to do depending on the color of their skin? can we talk about something else?" that would have resolved it.

Arsenio is being racist in a way here, he's attacking Ice for being white, giving him a harder time than he would any other guest, its just rude. Totally uncalled for. He's insulting Flav also in an underhanded way, sort of calling him an Uncle Tom in a way.
Arsenio was usually classier than this. I sat in the audience once for a show.
I'm no fan of Vanilla Ice by a long shot, but this is a lousy interview.

If Vanilla Ice could've only been born black he would've been treated like a real person, just like all Arsenio's black guests were, which made up 75% of his guests anyway. So where are you now, Arsenio...serving up hamburgers at McDowell's or what?
