Urgh... Methinks both the "happy, happy, God loves you" and "bible iz leik totly fake man" guys need a reality check. 1) samuelodog, explain gravity. Any decent physicist will tell you it can't be done yet. We can't explain why it's so weak, in comparison to the other fundamental forces. 2) Everyone else, life is not just about being happy and praying. Jesus didn't say "pray and it'll be good", he said, and lived, "It's gonna be hard, but stick with it".

Its not really speculation, its history. The bible and Koran are both full of good teachings, and some awful parts too that people exploit. This is the danger of religion, a book that people say is the word of god and cant be questioned. I believe it all started with an infinite curvature, read stephen Hawking - he explains it well.

well that could just as well be speculation as anything else. and just as everything else, it cant be proved or disproved. even if you dont believe in the bible, it is still full of good teachings that would make this world a better place if everyone followed them. but back to your view on how everything started, how do you believe everything started?
