Have you seen the 2006 movie Infamous?
It's about the same period of Capote's life. I felt the direction wasn't as good as this movie, but it offered different things emotionally.

I was kinda disappointed with the portrayal of Capote's relationship with Perry... it wasn't as romantic as I had heard.

you are right, but for a while there was a rumor that he wrote it and gave her credit but im pretty sure she wrote it.

That was Harper Lee. Dill was based on Truman though.

He did not write to kill a mockingbird, but one of the minor characters, Dill is based off of Truman Capote. |
