From the album "Elva kvinnor i ett hus " (eleven womans in a house)
Varje dag sker små under
Snart halv tre, men hurra!
Thanks For A Wonderful, Ordinary Day
Good Lord, what time is it?
After two, I fell asleep in front of the TV again
But thank you for the film, it was good.
Thank You, Lord, I really like Jarl Kulle,
Thank You for today, thank You for a wonderful, ordinary day.
Thank You for the lunch line being so short today,
For I was able to run
And buy those shoes I wanted.
Thank You, Lord, they fit me just fine,
Thank You for today, thank You for a wonderful, ordinary day.
I was also happy about the flyer from the new shop nearby
There You gave me a tip about the sale price of coffee.
Every day little miracles happen
But it's so easy to take them for granted,
So easy to sit back and just keep taking.
Thank You, Lord, for everything I've gotten today,
Thank You for today, thank You for a wonderful, ordinary day.
Good Lord, it's late now!
Almost two-thirty, but hooray!
Tomorrow is Saturday and I can sleep all day.
Thank You, Lord, now we'll rest, You and I,
Thank You for today, thank You for a wonderful, ordinary day.

polaire1982....see now you're learning,a comment that gets right to the point.I thank you for not wasting too much of my time with that short and direct comment. And since you're not being long winded and boring I'll be a little nicer towards Agnetha in future comments.

I am terribly sorry if it became to complex for you to follow. I leave you in your sandbox with the other children.

It's well known that American politicians used to stamp 'communist' in the forehead of people not sharing their views during the 60s and 70s - which completely deterioriated the political discussion. But that people in the US still have recourse to the communist word for people merely encouraging them to treat others with courtesy is something new - but still bizarre.

Completely erronous remark, in the same style as, if you don't like the politics in this democracy, go abroad. The better option is to try to influence the policies. Or, if you don't want people to be rude to you, stay in your house and never ge out. This kind of advice can not be taken seriously. It is better you grow up and start treating people on the internet as you would do if you met them live. |
