I really personally think that Jeff Beck should be no.1 i used to not believe in lists but he really is just the greatest cos everyone sounds the same but he truely sounds way above everyone hes of the greats whos taken influence from hendrix but didnt abuse it where he sounds like him like alot of hendrix jr's *ahem* john mayer *ahem* Stevie ray vaughn *ahem* as well as being influenced by jazz and fusion like the mahavishnu orhcestra. Hes just in a class by himself and no one comes close.
