What is with this constant atheistic notion that everybody who is religious is Christian?! What about all the Taoists, Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, Muslims, Confucians, Jains, Sikhs, Zoroastrians, Animists and other indigenous peoples? And where do you get the notion that religious scholars don't write books or contribute knowledge to the human race? Also, a book can be thrown into the fire and its material changes. It's the teachings on the pages of the book that are truly transcendent.

They can continue to go to church and maintain their ignorance; or pick up a material item like a book, and help contribute to collective knowledge of the huamn race.

Right on man!

And what about all the people who are religious because they believe in the spirit and not material?

Most believe in and continue to follow a God because of their parents. ?"Because creation requires a creator"? The educated don't believe we were created. We evolved. How ironic that you believe the educated don't believe in supernatural bullcrap cause God has done them a favor and blinded them to the truth. That lack of logic is steeped in religulous hilariousness. My gawd that's a knee slapper!

people use nature in alot of different ways, so looking it up in a dictionary would make no sense. i now understand what u meant with science created. but nature did not create anything, because nature isn't "something" nature is an abstract concept that is referring to things like laws of physics, etc , it did not create anything. and if you meant something different with that, then focus on bringing your point across more. and about my name, it's not serious ofcourse.

Dawkins nor anyone else has any evidence to prove the existence or non-existence of God. Most people though believe that there is a God because a creation requires a creator. The funny thing is that the most educated and supposedly smart people tend to disbelieve in God when they are the very people who understanding the complexity of creation should be believers. The only explanation for it is that God has blinded the most educated to the truth. God likes humble people who do not play God.

Just trying to communicate as concisely as possible. Thought you'd think that by 'science created' I meant: using the rules/laws science (chemistry, metallurgy, physics, etc.) has discovered. Scientists are in large part responsible for everything around us (planes, plastics, computers, etc). Please look up "nature" in the dictionary to understand my meaning on the crazy talk. Unless being omniscient precludes any need.
