I was 7 in 1983. Funny thing is, the first time I ever heard of the Video Game Crash
of 1983 was on the Internet less than 2
years ago. I was looking up video game
related topics on Wikipedia. I think I
still have an E.T. Atari video game in a
box in my house.

Interesting, you know I never even knew there was a video game crash, it just seems so weird when you think on it now just how successfull the majority of games are. Yet everything went stupid wrong back then because of one companies idiocy!

It does not help that most of the creative games are never officially released outside of Japan.

I agree. Actually I personally think there are less original games out there today. There are companies that do make very creative games today but they just get overshadowed by the unoriginal super graphiced ones.
