Peirsol and Hansen wore the LZR at trials.

I think its kind a ugly? s;
- I mean, the original is waaay more nice to look at, than this US LZR... That's my apenien...

Why should THIS suit be banned? All recent suits (FS I, FS II, Pro, LZR, etc) make you faster, to a differing degree. Where do you draw the line? If you want complete equality of water resistance, then try requiring all swimmers to wear the same nylon speedo, same cap, same goggles, and all shave the same amount of body hair. On the other hand, you could accept that technology is an important part of the sport and that world records have been broken by advances in technology for decades.

Speedo will provide one to whomeever wants to wear it in the olympics. Some companies have come out to their own version of the LZR. TYR Tracer Rise, Arenas Powerskin Revolution, etc.Its just right now everyone KNOWS the LZR delivers and it being endorsed by the USA team.USA team not everyone wil be wearing the LZR. Aaron Peirsol, Brenden Hansen, Cullen Jones, they al have contracts with Nike. |
